GRBX is a pre-launch project. We collect as little as possible, and what we do collect exists for exactly two reasons: holding your founding reservation, and telling you when the system launches. We never sell or rent your personal information.
What we collect
- What you give us — your email address (and name, if you include it) when you reserve a founding spot, join the launch list, or write to us.
- Reservations — payments run through Stripe’s hosted checkout. Card details go to Stripe, never to us; we receive your email, your payment status, and your founding number.
- Automatic — standard analytics data (pages visited, device and browser type, rough location from IP) collected via cookies and pixels by the tools below.
The tools we use
- Stripe — payment processing for reservation deposits. Stripe’s privacy policy
- Klaviyo — sends the launch and update emails you signed up for. Klaviyo’s privacy notice
- Google Analytics 4 — anonymous site-traffic measurement. Google’s privacy policy
- Meta pixel — measures our Facebook / Instagram ads and may show you GRBX there. Meta’s privacy policy
- TikTok pixel — the same, for TikTok. TikTok’s privacy policy
How we use it
To hold and refund reservations, send the emails you asked for, understand how people use the site, and reach people like you on the platforms above. That’s the whole list — no selling, no renting, no sharing beyond the processors named here.
Deposits & refunds
Founding deposits are fully refundable until the Kickstarter launches — email us and Stripe returns it to your original payment method. All prices are in USD.
Cookies & opting out
You can block or clear cookies in your browser, use Google’s Analytics opt-out, and manage ad preferences inside Meta and TikTok. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe.
Your rights
We operate from Canada under PIPEDA. Wherever you are — including under GDPR (EU/UK) or CCPA (California) — you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it entirely. Email hello@mygrbx.com and we’ll respond within 30 days.
Retention & security
We keep your details only while the pre-launch campaign runs, or until you ask us to delete them. Everything lives with the reputable processors named above — we don’t run our own servers or databases of personal data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and anything material gets called out to the email list. Questions? hello@mygrbx.com.
